Thomas Edison is Trash

 We all know of good ol’ Thomas Edison. The genius who invented the lightbulb, supposedly of course. But he was not the only person who was working towards the creation of incandescent lightbulbs. There were two others,  Humphrey Davy and Joseph Swank were said to had invented the lightbulb before Edison even lost a legal case to the pairing for the patent for the light bulb. So why do we realize Edison as the father of light? It seems to be nothing more than the power of word of mouth at the time. Edison had money, power and influence. It was most likely no problem for him to overturn the word of a small time group of inventors. They had nothing to combat his massive influence over the community of science and philosophy. And just as those with influence in our time, despite whether legally proven wrong or not they still have such a following that proof and evidence means close to nothing to the masses. Do different times equate different problems?

    We are all well aware that 2020 has been viewed as one of the worst years ever, from Giant Murder Hornets to Endless Quarantine; it's easy to say this year is a not a fan favorite. One subject that has been boiling over all year is the presidential race that is now upon us. This race has a lot of fuel that keeps it going, but one of the most hot spots to gain or lose millions of votes is the Treatment of Black people by the police. This brings us to our topic, Black people in the United States; more specifically Black People who have attempted to run for positions of power in The United Sates Government.The two people we are Looking at are the very first Black Person to run for President, George Edwin Taylor, and the very first black Woman to run for Vice President, Kamala Harris. This is history vs what will soon be viewed as such.   College graduation rates are something many people find important and many find irrelevant, but one thing that's constant between both; the fact that a lot of the rates are inaccurate representations of the college. This is because schools report the amount of student graduate from that school. It doesn't take into account the many variables such as students who transfer schools or the students that are only part time. This leads to misleading information bout the rate of people that actually graduate from college.   ðŸ’¸ðŸ’°College Is a Business💰💸 This is something shy of a fact, colleges are not the same as going to high-school or middle-school, and I know what you're saying "Yeah You don't say, what a genius this guy is" but hear me out.  As a college student myself I personally know the cost of college and it's not easy to come by. About Me: A Special Interest

  I have a lot of things that I think personally interest me. From games and movies, to books and comics, all the way sword stances and ancient tales and myths. With all of these things that I find enjoyment in You'd think it would be hard to pin-point what I really find the most fulfillment from doing. However, there has always been one video game series that encompasses all of my favorite things into one; Monster Hunter is that series. A game based around the simple yet thrilling task of Hunting Monsters. This game has everything from deep lore in a world of amazing proportions, Amazing Creatures with their own personalities and unique designs, an in depth combat Mechanic and even an amazing Musical selection. The stories in each and every game only push you further into the world of the games and that world has spread to books and even a soon to be released movie.  Every new installment in the series only adds to this already brilliant formula and I have been a fan since I playe
